The purpose of this activity was to use spreadsheet
for administrative purposes such as creating a record book that can be used for
recording continuous assessments, calculating class averages and year marks. Spreadsheet
programs are in widespread use in classrooms at all levels of education and
Teachers can use them in a number of subject areas .e.g. to help teach
mathematical topics etc. The use of Spreadsheets is not new to me,
and as an educator it is our job to keep accurate and updated records
of our students performs. Spreadsheets offer teachers and students several
kinds of unique benefits. One of the benefits is when you construct a
template it is very easy to amend and update it rather than redoing the process
each time thus making the teachers work easier.
