I
am always looking for materials online that can assist me in my teaching and
learning activities because getting children to study can be difficult. One
solution that can help our learners succeed in school is finding the right
educational software. If a child struggles now, it is not likely that they will
improve when they move into a higher class. Luckily, there are several kinds of
educational software available that teach students and give them the boost they
might need to succeed in school along with a variety of activities available
for reinforcement.
While
examining the list of sites provided in the course material, I've discovered
many reliable websites. Sites that specialize in different subject areas,
requires little supervision and contains straightforward instructions etc.
However, it was challenging to find sites related to my subject area of
Information Technology. While reviewing the resources on the websites with the
given checklist I found that:

were some sites that lack the necessary content,

Some
sites had some very interesting science experiments that students will enjoyed.
·
Some
sites lack relevant games and simulation software but can be used for general
information and ideas.
·
Some
sites that are very informative and are Teacher and Learner friendly.
·
Some
sites that offered lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum topics.
·
Some
that lack any links to social networking.
·
Some
that is free and offers printer friendly resources, drill and practice games,
educational videos etc.
In
conclusion Educational Software can make teaching so much more exciting and
interesting. An enjoyable activity!
