I found this activity to be one of reflection. Am reminded of some of the ways I can be an effective
teacher when it comes to dealing with student’s behaviour. As a teacher,
managing behaviour is always a main concern and I’ve learned more about
positive and negative reinforcement, punishments and rewards. Students learn by
observing others and by doing. Our role then is to create a learning environment
that brings out the desired behaviour. When this is done then we can reinforce
that desired behavior with rewards to strengthen the behavior. Thanks to my colleagues
for sharing their experiences some of which I will
definitely try.
