MODULE 1 ACTIVITY 3: SOCIAL COGNITIVE THEORY

This activity reminded me that students learn in so many ways and as children grow, their learning and development is supported by paying attention, observation, imitation and socialization. So if we want students to learn, we need to be more creative in our lesson delivery to help stimulate students’ interest so they can pay attention. We need to understand their learning styles and cater to their needs and we need to model the behaviour that we want them to adapt. As an educator, am reminded of the importance of modeling behaviours that are appropriate and accepted for students to adapt in and out of the classroom.
